Robin's stunning garden is reason enough to go to Robin's. We have been loving the Robin's Chow, Ahi Nachos and Risotto. Robin's always has many GF and vegetarian options. This is a local favorite, especially for outdoor dining.

A 0.4 mi walk from the cottage: This is a great place to watch the sea, take photos + explore the rocky beach (when tides are low). You are just 1/2 block away from Fiscalini Preserve and can hop on the Ocean Bluff Trail next if you want a longer walk.

Another great spot for taking in the sunset views and watching for whales. Gorgeous sunsets, whales or dolphins will draw neighbors and tourists alike to this Marine Terrace Neighborhood Park. It is about 4 blocks from the Cottage.
Moonstone Beach
Classic Cambria Walk along the sea, near the Hotel Row. If you are a seafood lover, stop for dinner at the Sea Chest Oyster Bar. It is a 7-8 min drive around the Preserve or a 2.5 mile walk to get to Moonstone Beach walking through the preserve.
San Simeon - Hearst Ranch Oceanfront Wine Tasting
Stunning ocean views and all new food options. Bring layers, sunglasses and your camera because you'll want to be ready for the whole right on the sea experience.

Ragged Point in Big Sur
This is about a 30 min scenic drive up the coast on Hwy 1.
Beaches, mountains, rolling hills, dramatic coastal bluffs. This drive has it all.
The cute coffee and pastry shop at Ragged Point is a nice break to stretch your legs and take in the Big Sur Views. Explore Ragged Point and continue on toward Salmon Creek or Gorda or head back and swing by Piedras Blancas, Hearst Ranch Wine Tasting or a Hearst Castle Tour on your way back. It is not uncommon to see deer, elk, cows and even the infamous Hearst Zebras while on this drive up the coast.
